According to the Canadian food guide recommendations my plate shoud consist of vegetables and fruits, foods that provide protein and some whole grains food. Also, they recomend you to chose to drink water and not other unhealthy drinks.
Question 4
BREAKFASTS: For breakfast I usually have 2 pieces of regular rice cake because they contain less calories than a normal bread. Then I also eat 1 banana and depend on my mood, I would combine all together with nutella. Then I drink coffee.
LUNCH: For lunch for sure that I will have rice. I try to keep my rice consumption only 1 cup of rice per meal. With the rice, I usually have some kind of dish that contains protein. Like chicken, pork or beef. And for vegetables, I do not have a seperate place for them. If the dish have some vegetables, that is the only vegetable I eat.
SUPPER: For my supper, again I will have a cup of rice. Then what ever left over we have in the house I would eat it. So my plate for supper looks like my plate for lunch.
NOTE: I have a eating routine. I eat breakfast around 6 am, my lunch around 12pm and my supper around 6pm. Also, my plate for supper looks like my lunch because when I cook, I cook alot so that when I go home from school I know that I have food to eat .
Question 5
I would say that to improve my eating habits, I should eat more vegetables because to be honest the food that I cook barely have some vegetables in it. Sometimes it doesn’t have any vegetables at all.
